The Shells
The snare drums Renown are manufactured with the classic Gretsch formula of 7 layers of maple, with the axles cut to 30 degrees and the exclusive interior finish "Silver Sealer". Also the has endowed with the hoops Gretsch "302", same hoop used the series Brooklyn and Broadkaster. Them hoops Gretsch 302 produces the sound focused like that of a hoop cast but are lighter and less rigid, allowing the drum to "breathe" better and thus achieve a maximum resonance.
