Hoops casting or heads Evans are just some of the the characteristics that round the Starclassic Walnut Birch to get a sharp and stable attack, no matter what style and where you have to play.
Tama has discovered the perfect ratio of walnut and birch to produce snare drum high-end that generates spectacular serious frequencies that complements a clear attack and with higher frequency projection birch. The sound is familiar, but distinctly different from Tama's previous sounds.
The Shells
The Starclassic Walnut Birch uses a Shell hybrid with birch with walnut getting a deep tone, which has the attack birch and the characteristic sound of the walnut.
