- Snare wires 3 types with precision adjustment
The Starphonic Concert de TAMA count on shells 7-layer and 6 mm maple thickness that provide a warm and versatile tone. The use of a 120° rebatch allows the side head resonate freely with a maximum response snare wires. It is equipped with hoops slotted straight TAMA and lugs Freedom.
Axis
The shape of the edge is one of the most important factors affecting the sound of a snare drum. Because the heads provide the more important source of vibration, the contact point shape head and the Shell determines and defines sound. For this reason Tama has worked extensively to achieve the more functional shape for the edge of these snare drums.
Snare wires
Six wires of ropes nickel guitar are flanked on each side by three wires nylon coated and wires stainless steel. These wires wire pull firmly the plate providing the tension right.
Precision adjustment
The Fine Adjuster in the snare drum allows tuning the six ropes nickel guitar cores to get a tone and a personalized response to your taste.
Lugs Freedom
By pulling the screws you can tilt the hooks the pull back. This fast-release system offers a simple and rapid change of the heads without having to remove all tuning screws the lugs.
“Linear-Drive” System"
This throw off uses a "Linear-Drive" system, which Tama has designed to provide greater control the lever and more precise control of the movement. Even if you move the lever quickly, you will not hear the typical "coup" of the snare wires hitting the head. The movement is designed to operate in a true "linear motion", similar to the movement found in the round wheel pedals. The most boarding systems are not designed this way and tend to accelerate just before the snare wires are connected with head. In addition, by tilting the angle the 30o top plate, this design holds the wires wire or the tape more firmly and reduces the unnecessary pressure on the system and the Shell.
