This Shell of maple of 8 layers inherits the basic design of the GS, and provides an exceptional attack and versatility. The balance between the Shell and the hoop is excellent and results in a brighter and more live sound.
The design of Shell achieves a warm tone and with exceptional clarity. The Shell 8 layers thicker maple further facilitates details and the expressive capacity when you touch delicate passages.
A more accentuated snare bed relay results in a better contact between Shell and the head lower for a perfect response snare wires.
