The Ludwig Jazz Fest today captures all the magic and the beauty of the original model, from the hoops 8 divisions and Baseball Bat system to the interior painted with Reso-Coat. The classic Ludwig sound has come back with Shell 3 layer Legacy mahogany with the warmth and an open tone that comes directly from the 50s and 60s. The snare bed of 64, a throw off P88 and a retro finish Shell complete this amazing snare drum.

The shells of Ludwig mahogany have inspired thousands of drummers from the 1920s. The snare drum Jazz Fest rises the classic Ludwig recipe in your Shell legacy mahogany, built from mahogany and poplar layers and reinforced with hoops of maple and producing warm and round tones that would be difficult to find in shells modern. The interior the Jazz Fest is finished as if you'd picked up this snare drum at the end of the 50s.
Internal coordination
Like in the original, the snare drum Jazz Fest today has an internal sordina to control the sustain and have a greater focus and dryness on the sound. The three positions will allow you to adjust the buffer level to suit almost any situation.
