Shape 65 is the polyvalent monitoring baffle par excellence. Used from 80 cm of listening distance, it offers a very wide response frequency in the bass (50 Hz), seen its compact format. Its conception and adjustments make it easily integrable in rooms less than 12 m2.

Immaterially made in France, Shape monitors integrate 5 innovations that open the door to increasing acoustic transparency. Designed to respond the listening needs in nearby areas, Shape monitors associate a sagaz conception with adjustments that respond to the features of small spaces.

Focal evolves his famous inverted dome tweeter Kevlar by two notable mechanical advances: a new form in “M” and an added suspension of Poron has to give a much more linear character to the response curve below 6 kHz, thus favoring the coupling with the woofer.

The membrane "F" is a sandwich composed of a very high quality linen fiber soul (“flax”, in English), placed in the center of two thin leaves of fiberglass. Satisfies all the criteria of a high fidelity membrane: it is light, to offer a good dynamic, rigid to maintain the grave, and cushioned to provide a neutral and natural listening.

The TMD suspension (Tuned Mass Damper) consists simply of two circular "rolls" moulded in the mass the suspension, carefully dimensioned and positioned. They constitute our harmonic damper (TMD) and stabilize behavior the suspension the resonance to avoid the deformations of the cone and not alter the dynamic. This innovation is patented.
