Focal evolves his famous inverted dome tweeter Kevlar by two notable mechanical advances: a new form in “M” and an added suspension of Poron has to give a much more linear character to the response curve below 6 kHz, thus favoring the coupling with the woofer.

The membrane "F" is a sandwich composed of a very high quality linen fiber soul (“flax”, in English), placed in the center of two thin leaves of fiberglass. Satisfies all the criteria of a high fidelity membrane: it is light, to offer a good dynamic, rigid to maintain the grave, and cushioned to provide a neutral and natural listening.

The TMD suspension (Tuned Mass Damper) consists simply of two circular "rolls" moulded in the mass the suspension, carefully dimensioned and positioned.
