Meinl Stack Byzance Matt Garstka AC-FAT

Matt Garstka of Animals As Leaders needed a stack that was fast but musical, fast but with body. And Meinl started working to develop this stack Matt Garstka Artist Concept of 18 ". Its two surfaces, one raw and another tornado to the traditional form, are splendidly complemented for an immediate attack and a dry decay.

The alloy
The series Byzance de Meinl is manufactured in Turkey with the famous B20 alloy and scrupulously following all the steps with which for centuries are manufactured the best cymbals of the world. This B20 alloy is composed of 80% copper and a  20% tin, a alloy that can be difficult to work as it requires a great reworking and recollecting due to its natural state that is very fragile.
