Having played with artists such as Sting, Madonna or David Bowie, Omar is an authentic master of the drum that is characterized among other qualities by its sound. Built in African mahogany and as of 13x05, this box has a dry, dark and dynamic sound.
With an incredible list of recordings and spins on his own, Omar Hakim is a truly original drummer. His search for a unique sound and sensation led him to the box bearing his name.
A perfect combination of sound, projection and tonal color, Omar's Pearl box offers a unique voice that many call the "Power Piccolo" sound. The characteristic warmth and slightly darker and dry sound of its Shell mahogany, combined with its special size of 13 "x5", produces a unique, powerfully dynamic and personal sound.
