One of the most remarkable aspects of this series is the new suspension system the bars (FBS), this unique support system the bars increase the resonance in more than 20%. The bars are cut with laser to ensure they are drilled by the nodal point, thus ensuring a perfect resonance the bars.
This is it series incorporates the innovative ICS system (Integrated Cord Suspension) stand it has solid pieces of wood that give it extraordinary stability and resonance.

The bars
The bars they're from Rosewood of Honduras of the highest quality. This wood is the used in all models of high-end marimbas and is considered as the wood perfect for this instrument and produces a warm sound and a rich sustain.

Sounders
After years of research, Vancore's R & D team has developed some rectangular bass resonators that produce an optimal resonance and projection in the lower records. These resonators are affinable.
Vancore uses the Resonator Clamp System. They are individually adjusted and assembled using an exclusive assembly system. This system eliminates all kinds of strange sounds or noises.
Unlike other resonators, soldiers or riveted, this system uses minimal contact technology.

The instrument image is promotional: the resonators included in the PSM1012 model decrease from beginning to end, as in all models of the 1000 series; they do not have the "undulations" that the 2000 and 4000 series do. We use the photo included in this product sheet because we do not have the one that includes decreasing resonators. This change is purely aesthetic and in no way affects the instrument's sound quality.
