One of the most remarkable aspects of this series is the new suspension system the bars (FBS), this unique support system the bars increase the resonance in more than 20%. The bars are cut with laser to ensure they are drilled by the nodal point, thus ensuring a perfect resonance the bars.
This series incorporates the innovative ICS system (Integrated Cord Suspension) stand it has solid pieces of wood that give it extraordinary stability and resonance.

Differences with other models
The difference with the PSM 501 model is that this PSM500 model does not have resonators, otherwise it is exactly the same marimba. The bars they're exactly the the model PSM 1001.
Resonators can be purchased later if you want to update your PSM500 to the PSM501 in an easy and economical way.

Bars
As a perfect alternative for the Palo Rosa Hondureño, Vancore is using African Padouk as a basic material for the manufacture the bars in the series for student. This hard African wood has a warm sound and a great sustain. Of course professional width and perfect tuning. The padoux has very similar characteristics to the dove in terms of durability, resistance, sound qualities and grain but to a price much more affordable.
