The alloy
This B20 alloy is composed of 80% copper and 20% tin and is the alloy “star” in the construction cymbals professionals. The alloy B20 can be difficult to work, as it requires a great reworking and recollecting due to its very fragile natural state, but in Turkey the has used for centuries.
Like all cymbals cast bronze, be poured and moulded individually from raw cast metal. Each foundry cools and is classified by weight for each model cymbal. Then, the casting parts are subjected to a complex sequence of heating techniques, laminated, formed, hammered and unique turning for each model cymbals. These cymbals cast bronze have a rich and large body sound that improves with the passing of time. They also have greater projection, clarity and durability than any other cymbal
