The heads Tucked has a hoop as in the heads conventional conga. This system increases the stability and adjustment range. Because of the non-standardization and the variation the manufacture found in the congas, initial adjustment head in each drum model can vary. When installing heads, make sure you level and focus heads and maintain that balance by adding tension to the drum slowly and evenly. As you approach the drum to the desired tone, the head will adjust to Shell.
